     Looking over Kook Jin Nim right by his side, there are times when I feel so much sorrow in my heart. Yet Kook Jin Nim always tells me, "Greater than the success which True Parents have accomplished is the price of indemnity and sacrifice which they have paid. On this basis we were liberated from the original sin, from the root of sin. How can I help the providence if I do not sacrifice as much as my parents did? I would not be able to help the providence if I chased after personal benefits." In this sense, Kook Jin Nim always expressed his gratitude and honored True Parents.

 Welcome Brothers and Sisters!  Good afternoon. Today is a wonderful day to worship Heavenly Father and True Parents.  We are always honored to have you here in this sanctuary, and for those who are joining with us via internet, we also welcome you as well. Welcome Brothers and welcome Sisters!

HyungJinNim:

 Welcome brothers and sisters! You know, at the end of every month, in the last week of every month, we have a very special guest who comes and speaks to all of our brothers and sisters. Last month, as you all know, because of the helicopter accident, we were initially planning to have Sun Jin Nuna come and speak to us, but due to the information that we wanted to share with all of you, she was not able to speak at that time. Now she's in Japan and so we have this time in the month of August, in the time of harvest. We have such a wonderful speaker today.

     Are we  believers or are we knowers? Do we believe that God will be good to us; that He will help us to overcome archangels, challenges and obstacles in our lives? Or are we confident, do we know He will? Are we hoping that God is going to do better things for our tomorrow and for our futures? Or do we know that He has a plan for each and everyone of us? Are we hoping and waiting for particular circumstances to be overcome or to pass? Or do you know that you'll overcome it with your potentials that God has given you?

Welcome brothers and sisters. Today I want to share with you from Cheon Seong Gyeong on page 490. Father says, "The parental heart seeks to protect children from harm and is concerned about them day and night. No matter how incompetent or lacking parents may be, if one of their children suffers from a disability, the parents' hearts are devastated to the point of breaking.  If the situation is then resolved, the relief and joy are overwhelming in proportion to the original pain. If such is the heart of normal fallen parents, then what must be the heart of God? ".

   And I said it from the very beginning that whenever we do education for the ministers, whenever we do anything, I am always telling them we have to focus as leaders on helping the membership shine. That has to be our focus. It's not about leaders shining. It's about creating organizations that help the membership grow and shine. Why? Because the membership as blessed central families are the representatives of True Parents in society, in the neighborhoods, in their families.  And as the people of the chosen nation it is our responsibility, no matter how we think about it.

Good afternoon, brothers and sisters! ("Good afternoon!")

The hot weather is settling down a little and we feel refreshed by the cold rain. We know that God is always with us and within us and He is always our loving God. We are always welcoming you in this sanctuary and for those who are joining with us via internet; we are welcoming you as well. Welcome brothers and welcome sisters!

Hyung Jin Nim:

Brothers and sisters, I'd like to share with you from Cheon Seong Gyeong, page 659. Father says here,” The closer we are to the truth and the more we come under its spell the more it will become our center, which nobody can snatch from us. Even when the earth was to fall into chaos millions of times and the universe was suddenly destroyed, people whose minds are securely centered on truth will never be changed or shaken."

Brothers and sisters, it's so important in our lives to be true, to be all that God has created us to be, to really live lives of excellence, integrity, honesty, sincerity. And really, Father is telling us that if we keep that at the center of our lives, then no matter the turbulence that may happen in our lives, the ups and downs, we will be on the right track, (on) the trajectory towards fulfilling our destinies

Brothers and sisters, I want to welcome you all to service. And remember, we are not only here to attend or just observe service, let's be here and participate. You know, today a lot of our brothers and sisters who are usually here, I am sure they are in Cheong Pyeong. They had a music festival yesterday. But we have a nice family gathering today. It's wonderful! You know, we always know that even if it's just one person that comes, if we offer (service) with the right sincere heart, then God will listen to the things that are in our hearts and desires.

Brothers and sisters, once again, I'd like to welcome you all, and let's remember in our service, before service, it's always important to remember who we are. To remember that we have value as God's children, to remember that we have identity as the children that God has been waiting for 6,000 years of biblical history, really the fruition of God's providence. Let's remember that we have a purpose to really live the blessed life and to extend that to become blessings to others in this world.

Brothers and sisters, once again, welcome, and let's really not only observe service today. Let's be really together in our hearts; we'll meditate together, practice together, sing together, worship together, and pray together. Really let's participate together. Once again, welcome everybody!
